Her death impacted people in so many ways. But it was her life — and her larger than life voice — that moved mountains and majesties.

Stephanie Hume of Detroit, a freelancer using a Canon 5D, chronicles the outpouring of love and devotion around town since Aretha Franklin passed away last week. She is a 2018 Documenting Detroit fellowship winner.
