Brome Modern Eatery Opens in Two Weeks in Downtown Detroit –  Deadline Detroit

Here’s something that’s hard to find downtown: A hamburger. Just kidding.

Another burger joint joins the Detroit crowd.

Brome Modern Eatery, which Eater Detroit describes as a popular Dearborn spot for burgers, shakes and juices, opens its second shop May 12 at 607 Shelby St. on the corner of Congress Street. An accompanying juice bar, Balence, will serve smoothies, cold-pressed juice and regular fruit juice on a pedestrian bridge between the office building to State Savings Bank.

The menu has eight meat and vegetarian burgers for $8.50 to $12, plus three other bun sandwiches (chicken and fish). Also offered: salads, fries, other sides and shakes.

Local spray paint artist Kyle (“Wetiko”) Danley this week finished the inside mural shown below. “Thanks for leaving a piece of your amazing energy with us,” the restaurant posts on Instagram.
