Larry Nassar Moves Out of Arizona Fed Prison After Assault  –  Deadline Detroit

Larry Nassar, who’s notorious nationally because he sexuyally assaulted yoiung gymnasts, has been moved out of a federal prison in Tucson where he was serving 60 years for federal child pornography convictions, the Arizona Republic reports. He’s been moved to Oklahoma City.


The move to a temporary holdover facility in Oklahoma City comes after a report in May in which his lawyer claimed he was assaulted. He was taken out of the general population after that.


Nassar, 55, had been at the U.S. Penitentiary Tucson since February. It is the only high-security federal facility that also offers a sex-offender-management program.


It’s unclear where he’ll end up.


Nassar is never expected to get out of prison. After the federal sentence, he’ll serve state time for sexual assaut.
