LinkedIn, which has been operating out of a temporary location, the WeWork space in downtown Detroit since October, has found a permanent spot.
The Silicon Valley-based social media company is moving its team of 40 into the historic Sanders building at 1523 Woodward for its first new U.S. office in 10 years, reports Kurt Nagl of Crain’s Detroit Business.
The 74,500-square-foot building is owned by Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock LLC. Renovations are underway and the company plans to open its new office within the next year, according to a post on its website, Crain’s reports.
The company, launched in launched 2003, is used for professional networking.
